Ballinasloe Town Association Football Club want all of our players to have a safe and

enjoyable time whilst playing soccer for Ballinasloe Town both home and away, that is

why the club is fully supportive of the Football Association of Ireland's Child Welfare

To facilitate our adoption of these guidelines we also have a dedicated Child Welfare Officer

based at the club who can be contacted if you have any queries relating to your child's

experiences at Ballinasloe Town AFC.

Ballinasloe Town AFC Underage teams play their football in the Athlone & District Schoolboys/girls League. The league caters for U7's through to U14's teams with competitive games beginning at U12 age level. Girls play in these teams up to age U14, as an extra provision to keep girls playing football they are allowed to play one age group below their age also, so an U10 Girl can also play U9 football also. From U7 to U11's the Boys & Girls play in 'FUN' Leagues although as an extra provision to prepare these younger players for competitive games there is a cup competition at the end of the season for U10 & U11 age groups.
